The American Legion
The American Legion was chartered by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic, mutual-help, war-time veterans organization.
 
American Red Cross
The American Red Cross is a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement; it will provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.
 
American Veterans of WWII, Korea and Vietnam (AMVETS)
AMVETS Membership is open to all men and women who have served honorably any time after September 15, 1940, or are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces, Reserves or National Guard.
 
Army and Air Force Mutual Aid Association
A non-profit, tax exempt organization supported entirely by membership dues. Army and Air Force commissioned, warrant, and noncommissioned officers on active duty or retired status (Reserve Component included) are eligible for membership.
 
Disabled American Veterans
