Mountain Veteran Program – Sundance Nordic Collection (MAR 11-13)

Hosted by Mountain Veteran Program at Sundance Mountain Resort, the Sundance Nordic Collection is a cost-free winter program designed to help military veterans reconnect, heal, and rebuild confidence through movement, creativity, and community.

This 3-day immersive experience centers on guided Nordic activities while embracing the quieter magic of winter in the mountains. A highlight of the program is Night Owling, a rare and meaningful opportunity to witness the release of a rehabilitated great horned owl in partnership with Great Basin Wildlife Rescue – an unforgettable moment of restoration, stewardship, and connection to the natural world. Time at the Nordic Center is balanced with art studio sessions, wellness and mobility offerings, restorative spa time, and shared meals that foster meaningful connection.
