Stand Up for Start Ups is an evening dedicated to veterans who are building their own businesses. Hosted by Warrior Rising and presented by Maverik, the event takes place Thursday, November 19, 2026 at the Capitol Theatre in Salt Lake City.

At the heart of the night is the Veteran Entrepreneur Pitch Competition. Veteran business owners take the stage to share their companies and their stories, and the audience votes to choose the winner, who receives a grant to help grow their business. The evening closes with a headlining set from comedian Brian Regan, known for his clean, observational style.

Every part of the evening supports Warrior Rising’s mission of providing mentorship, training, and capital to veterans as they launch and scale their businesses. Tickets are free and open to all ages, and guests can join the 6 Club for VIP access while funding that work year-round.
