Vietnam Veterans Recognition Day Ceremony

Join us for a heartfelt tribute to our Vietnam Veterans, presented by the Vietnam Veterans of America and the Utah Department of Veterans & Military Affairs. This special event will take place on Friday, March 29, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Layton City Vietnam Memorial Wall in Layton Common Park, Layton, UT.
Experience moving performances from the Utah Military Academy Choir and be inspired by remarks from our speakers:
- Dennis Howland, a Vietnam Veteran from the USMC, national at-large director, and Utah state president of Vietnam Veterans of America
- Nancy Espinoza, an Army Veteran and National Commander for the Disabled American Veterans
- Mayor Joy Petro of Layton City, a dedicated advocate for veteran affairs
- Sterling Poulson, a retired SMSgt from the USAF, Vietnam Veteran, and a champion of the veteran community
This event is free and open to the public, offering a unique opportunity to express our collective gratitude and respect for the sacrifices and valor of our Vietnam Veterans. Join us in this commemoration and be part of a community that honors and remembers. We look forward to seeing you there!
