Free Career and Benefits Fair on Oct. 30 for veterans, service members and families
The Utah Department of Veterans & Military Affairs will be part of the annual Hiring Utah’s Heroes Career and Benefits Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at the
Mountain America Exposition Center.
The free event is open to all current or former service members (National Guard, Reserve, active duty), veterans, military spouses and military family members.

This career hiring fair is designed to connect employers to qualified employees and veterans, service members and family members to career opportunities. Additionally, veterans service providers, including the Utah Department of Veterans & Military Affairs will be available to answer questions regarding veterans claims and earned benefits.
More than 90 of the state’s military-friendly employers looking for employees will at the event. These employers recognize the unique combination of natural and acquired skills and value real-world experiences of service members and military families.
Sponsor organizations and participants include the Utah Department of Veterans and Military Affairs, the Utah Veterans and Military Employment Coalition, Utah Department of Workforce Services, National Guard Employment Support Program (ESP), Utah Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), Utah Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS), along with other partners.
The Mountain America Exposition Center is located at 9575 South State Street, Sandy, Utah. The event will be located in Exhibit Hall 3 (Middle Hall) and will be open from 11:00 am through 3:00 pm. Free parking is located directly west of the expo center.
