Veterans & Military Appreciation Nights at the Utah Opera

The Utah Department of Veterans & Military Affairs, in partnership with the Utah Opera, is excited to offer Veteran and military families the opportunity to attend a performance of Silent Night on Jan. 20 and Jan. 22 at 7pm.

The Pulitzer Prize-winning opera tells the story of the historical short-lived spontaneous 1914 Christmas truce between enemy combatants in World War I. Based on the 2005 screenplay Joyeux Noël, is one of the most performed American operas of our time.

A limited number of tickets are available to military and veteran families at no-cost. Those who register for tickets will be able to pick up tickets the night of the performance at will call.

Those interested in attending must register for tickets at veterans-silentnight.eventbrite.com.
