SILKIES HIKES ARE FOR VETERANS, ACTIVE DUTY, NATIONAL GUARD AND RESERVISTS ONLY:
Looking for a day filled with humor, camaraderie, and military-grade banter? Look no further! Irreverent Warriors Silkies Hikes are where you’ll meet your next BFF (seriously, LOL). This is not your typical hike—it’s a roughly 22-kilometer urban adventure packed with fun games, social stops every hour or so, and a tribe of veterans who know how to blend humor with healing.
Whether you’re here to reconnect, laugh, or just wear short shorts (because Silkies, duh), this hike is for YOU. First-timer? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with all the details below!

THIS IS NOT AN ATHLETIC EVENT
The hikes are between 4-10 miles, paced at 2-3 miles per hour. There are frequent stops for fellowship and food/beverages, and rucks, weight, and boots are optional.
