The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has the largest integrated healthcare system in our nation. It has over 1500 facilities throughout the country that address most of the issues affecting our nation’s Veterans. The VA has established 21 regional Veterans Integrated Service Networks (VISN) nationwide. Eligible Veterans may receive care from a full range of healthcare services provided by facilities within these networks. Utah falls within the VA Salt Lake City healthcare System under VISN 19, the Rocky Mountain Network. Veterans within the state of Utah can receive care from a variety of facilities including a VA Medical Center, six Outpatient Clinics, and three Vet Centers.
