Veterans Health Week Town Hall – University of Utah Health

On October 21st, The University of Utah Health will be hosting a town hall to discuss mental health support for veterans and military-connected individuals. This important event features prominent leaders like Dr. Michael L. Good, CEO of the University of Utah Health, and Dr. Marla De Jong, Dean of the College of Nursing, who will address the university’s commitment to this critical issue. They will be joined by Dr. Julie Nguyen, a psychiatrist with firsthand experience working with veterans at the Salt Lake City VA, offering valuable insights from the front lines of mental health care.
