Jeff Hanson Biography

Jeff has been part of UDVMA since 2002 when he started as the State Officer at the William E. Christoffersen Salt Lake Veterans Home. In 2013, he oversaw the opening of the Mervyn Sharp Bennion Central Utah Veterans Home and served as its first State Officer. He was promoted to Deputy Director over facilities in 2019. In his role, Jeff oversees the operations of the four state Veterans homes and the Utah Veterans Cemetery and Memorial Park. 

Jeff served 36 years in the Utah Army National Guard and retired at the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 5. He spent the majority of his military career as a military intelligence officer and completed three combat tours.
