AMVETS ONE Tour Across America 2024

Utah’s veterans face a suicide rate 1.5 times higher than their non-veteran counterparts, a harrowing statistic that requires our attention and increased efforts. The AMVETS Department of California is going on a national tour to promote awareness and local resources for preventing Veteran suicide. The AMVETS ONE: Tour Across America 2024 will visit six western states, partnering with Veteran service organizations to support our mission of leaving no Veteran behind.
A coalition of veterans service organizations including the Utah Department of Veterans & Military Affairs, VA Salt Lake City Healthcare System, Utah Department of Health and Human Services, and others will join AMVETS ONE to provide information on mental health and suicide prevention resources for service members, veterans, and their families. This event is an opportunity to shed light on how Veterans can get the support they need.
