Korean War Veterans Recognition Event

Join us for a special Korean War Veterans Recognition Ceremony on October 12, 2023, at the Utah State Capitol Rotunda. We’re celebrating the 70th anniversary of the US-Republic of Korea (US-ROK) alliance. It’s a heartfelt tribute to the brave Korean War veterans and their vital role in the partnership between our nations. Lt. Governor Diedre Henderson and Consul General of the Republic of Korea in San Francisco Yoon Sang-soo will share remarks. The Utah National Guard 23rd Army Band’s Brass Quintet and the Utah Korean Boys and Girls Choir will perform. We’ll also honor Korean War Veterans with a commemorative challenge coin.
This event is open to everyone, and we invite the media to help us honor these heroes.
