Utah Department of Veterans & Military Affairs Memorial Day Ceremony

The Utah Department of Veterans and Military Affairs invites you to a special Memorial Day ceremony on the South steps of the Utah Capitol Building on Monday, May 27th, 2024, at 11 am. The ceremony is free to the public, and we would be honored to have you and your family in attendance. The event will feature remarks from Governor Spencer J. Cox and U.S. Representative Celeste Maloy, along with a special musical performance and a 21-gun salute by the Utah National Guard. We will also be displaying a wreath and flags, which will remain in place throughout the day for the community to visit and remember those who gave their lives to protect our nation and its freedoms.
